Key Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, and implement direct clinical care to assigned patients on a per-shift basis
• Supervise staff to whom appropriate patient care tasks are delegated
• Support nursing leadership to ensure high quality and safe nursing care is delivered
• Monitor and manage appropriate resources related to patient care at the unit level
• Ensure competency of clinical staff through ongoing oversight and accountability

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Experience in an Emergency Department or acute care setting
• Demonstrated ability to assess and prioritize patient care needs in a fast-paced environment
• Strong clinical decision-making and critical thinking skills

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a supervisory or charge nurse capacity
• Familiarity with emergency department workflows and protocols
