PRN Physical Therapist Acute Care

Job Description Job Description Working Hours: Varied hours between 8 AM and 6 PM Days of the Week: Weekdays as required; one weekend each month Shift Details: Position Overview: In this dynamic and technical role, you will work alongside a diverse team to deliver exceptional care to our patients. As a Physical Therapist PRN, your primary duty will be to provide both professional and technical physical therapy services to designated patients. This includes direct and indirect patient care following the guidelines of the Practice of Physical Therapy Act/Rules, which encompasses evaluation, treatment planning and execution, continuous reassessment, and discharge planning. Qualifications: Graduation from an accredited baccalaureate or post-baccalaureate Physical Therapy program Current Basic Life Support Certification Valid Texas Physical Therapy License or Temporary License required Minimum of 1 year of experience as a licensed Physical Therapist Key Responsibilities: Maintain clear and open communication Foster relationships to encourage a collaborative atmosphere Take responsibility for your performance Continuously seek ways to enhance the patient experience Proactively pursue your professional development Engage actively to contribute to a successful team About Us Our organization is a 443-bed, comprehensive acute care facility serving the communities of Richardson, Garland, Plano, and the surrounding areas in Dallas and Collin counties.
