Driver (Class A CDL - Bulk Tanker)

Class A CDL Bulk Tanker Driver position driving a structured route. In this role you will be responsible for loading/unloading trucks and delivering products in a safe, timely and courteous manner.

Responsibilities include professionally delivering products to internal and external customer sites, knowing the equipment and process operations of handling, storing, shipping and transporting hazardous materials compliant with DOT standards, accurately completing required documentation, providing routine minor maintenance and inspection of vehicles and equipment, maintaining housekeeping standards, applying all product quality and safety standards, communicating compliance, safety, and equipment needs, safely operating independently while adhering to all company Standard Operating Procedure (SOP)s and complying with all applicable Federal, State, and Corporate environmental, safety and health regulations, and performing other miscellaneous related duties, as needed.

About You

1-3 years previous Class A bulk driving experience required, Highschool diploma or equivalent, Currently holding a Class A CDL with ability to obtain tanker and HAZMAT endorsements, Ability to drive manual transmission required, Satisfactory driving records, Effective communication and interpersonal skills, Basic computer skills and knowledge of MS Office required; prior MRP or ERP experience preferred, Experience in a manufacturing or chemical environment preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds
• Must be able to perform physical tasks for extended periods of time including standing, walking, climbing, bending, pushing, reaching, and pulling
• Ability to climb and/or work at heights while utilizing stairs and ladders
• Ability to wear PPE and equipment such as safety shoes, face shields, safety glasses, safety goggles, hearing protection, gloves and a hard hat; chemical suits and a hair/beard net when required
• Must be able to occasionally use and wear a respirator for certain chemicals is required.
• Ability to safely operate an industrial forklift when required
• Willing and able to adhere to all grooming requirements (for respirator use, SQF-certified environments, etc.)
• Ability to work in hot, cold, noisy, dusty, wet environmental working conditions
• Willing to work around chemicals and industrial machinery

Travel varies from 0% - 20%

Expected Compensation: $33.55/hr.
