Pride Health is hiring a Phlebotomist III Floater to support our client's medical facility, based in Orlando FL 32828.

This is a 13+ weeks job with a possible extension opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Location: Orlando FL 32828

Schedule: Mon-Fri 5:30am- 3:00pm Sat. 6:00am-12:00pm (40hrs/week)

Pay Range: $23.86 - $25.56/hr

The offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials. The rate is based on years of DIRECT EXPERIENCE as listed in the resume.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and capillary blood sampling with precision and care.
• Ensure proper identification of patients prior to blood collection.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to laboratory procedures and safety protocols.
• Accurately label and document specimens for testing in accordance with medical terminology standards.
• Label, process, and transport blood specimens accurately and efficiently in compliance with CLIA, OSHA, and HIPAA standards.

Education

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Medical training (such as medical assistant or paramedic programs) is preferred.

Experience

• Minimum of five (5) years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary draws.
• At least two (2) years of experience in a Patient Service Center or clinical setting is preferred.
