Date: May 18, 2026 Location: Denver, CO, US Company: Black & Veatch Family of Companies Req Id: 110333 Opportunity Type: Staff Relocation eligible: Yes Full time/Part time: Full-Time Visa Sponsorship Available: No Job Summary As the Project Manager, you will manage medium to large Engineering Procurement Construction (EPC)/Service projects, overseeing risk to cost, schedule, quality, contractual compliance, safety, and client satisfaction. You will ensure day‑to‑day execution of engineering, procurement, and construction scope, staff the project team, and coordinate multidisciplinary activities, including third‑party functions. Key Responsibilities Manage all aspects of medium to large EPC/service projects, including risk to cost, schedule, quality, and contractual compliance. Oversee day‑to‑day execution of engineering, procurement, construction scope, focusing on performance, financial metrics, planning, schedule, quality, safety, and client satisfaction. Ensure successful staffing of the project team. Lead and coordinate medium to large multidisciplinary teams, integrating engineering, procurement, construction, startup, and third‑party activities. Obtain new and repeat business, support contract negotiations with clients or partners. Manage risk, including fixed‑price contracts, new technologies, non‑domestic markets, and new clients. Preferred Qualifications Typically 9 years of experience. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. Must complete pre‑employment onboarding requirements, including criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Work Environment / Physical Demands Hybrid or flexible work options may be offered after the first 90 days based on manager discretion and performance. Typical office and construction environments with extreme weather, high noise, safety hazards (electric currents, scaffolding, chemicals), atmospheric conditions (fumes, dust, gases). Duties include sitting, walking, talking, reading, writing, keyboarding, driving, filing, reaching, stooping, crouching, bending, standing for extended periods, and lifting or carrying up to 40 pounds.
