Your future role at a glance Location: Saint Johns, FL Facility: Optimal Imaging Ascension St. Vincent's Department: Outpatient Imaging Schedule: Day shift | Full-time How you'll make an impact in this role Execute advanced mammography procedures with precise positioning and technical parameter selection. Educate patients on procedures and the vital importance of preventative breast health. Evaluate image quality for optimal contrast and definition before submission to PACS. Adhere to strict radiation safety protocols and routine equipment maintenance standards. Manage departmental work flows, including equipment troubleshooting and procedure room upkeep. What minimum qualifications you'll need Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Radiologic Technologist credentialed from the Florida Department of Health obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Florida license requirements not applicable to associates working in Georgia. One or more of the following required: American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Registered Radiologic Technologist licensure required. Mammography registry preferred. Education: High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate'sdegree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
