Role

Anesthesiology provider supporting a healthcare facility with locum tenens coverage.

Responsibilities

Providing anesthesia services mainly for adults and geriatrics, with occasional pediatric cases, during weekdays and on call shifts including weekends. Managing patient care using the EPIC Electronic Medical Record system.

Qualifications

Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible in Anesthesiology, with required certifications in Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support. Must hold a Maine medical license or be eligible via IMLC.

Key Duties

Deliver anesthesia during surgeries, ensure patient safety, and collaborate with surgical teams across multiple operating rooms.

Skills & Requirements

Strong clinical knowledge in perioperative medicine, ability to work flexible hours, and proficiency with EMR systems. Must meet licensing requirements and hold necessary certifications.
