Delivery Driver

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Safely operate a company vehicle to deliver products, materials, and equipment to customers and job sites.
Load, secure, transport, and unload deliveries while ensuring products arrive in excellent condition.
Verify orders before departure and confirm deliveries with customers upon arrival.
Obtain signatures or proof of delivery as required.
Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to ensure on-time deliveries.
Perform daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance or repair needs promptly.
Keep the delivery vehicle clean, organized, and properly maintained.
Maintain accurate delivery records, logs, and paperwork.
Communicate effectively with dispatch, warehouse personnel, and customers regarding delivery schedules or delays.
Provide professional and courteous customer service at every delivery location.
Assist with warehouse duties, stocking, inventory, and loading/unloading when deliveries are not scheduled.
Follow all company policies, traffic laws, and applicable Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
Adhere to all safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
