Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Pediatric Intensive Care Unit – Colorado

Start Date: October 26, 2026

Location: Denver, Colorado

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 12-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM. Patient ratios of 1:2 or 1:1 depending on acuity.

• 20-bed Pediatric Intensive Care Unit with experienced nursing team of 51 staff members
• Comprehensive critical care environment including conscious sedations, respiratory failure management (ETT, HFOV), and central line care
• Meditech EMR system with modern equipment including Philips monitoring and Alaris/Medfusion IV pumps
• Collaborative team structure with dedicated charge nurse and patient care technician support on each shift
• Travel assignment providing competitive compensation and benefits package
• Opportunity to work with diverse pediatric critical care cases including post-operative cardiac patients

Requirements:

• Current Colorado RN license or compact state license
• Minimum 1 year of current Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) nursing experience required
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Current PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification
• Post-operative cardiac experience preferred
• Venous puncture skills preferred
