Location: Niles, Michigan
Schedule: Full-Time | Fully Onsite
Pay: $26.00 - $28.00 per hour
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced and highly organized HR Recruiter to join our team in Niles, Michigan. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of recruiting or human resources experience and be comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. This role requires excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
Responsibilities

• Manage the full-cycle recruiting process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, coordinating interviews, and supporting the offer and onboarding process.
  
  
• Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, develop recruiting strategies, and identify qualified candidates.
  
  
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records and ensure all recruiting documentation is completed properly and confidentially.
  
  
• Communicate professionally with candidates throughout the hiring process and provide a positive candidate experience.
  
  
• Coordinate background checks, pre-employment requirements, and new hire paperwork.
  
  
• Maintain job postings across appropriate recruiting platforms and proactively source candidates through various channels.
  
  
• Track recruiting activity, monitor open positions, and provide regular updates to hiring managers and HR leadership.
  
  
• Assist with other HR-related administrative responsibilities and special projects as needed.
  
  

• Minimum 3 years of recruiting and/or human resources experience .
  
  
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with candidates, employees, and leadership.
  
  
• Highly detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  
  
• Ability to effectively multitask, prioritize competing deadlines, and manage multiple open positions simultaneously.
  
  
• Demonstrated ability to maintain strict confidentiality and exercise sound judgment when handling sensitive employee and candidate information.
  
  
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
  
  
• Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  
  
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and experience using an ATS or HRIS preferred.
