Exciting Night Shift ER Nurse Opportunity!

Job Description:


- Shift: 12-Hour Nights (7 PM - 7:30 AM)
- Schedule: Every Other Weekend, Must be Willing to Work Holidays
- Location: Float within Region I as Needed
- Preferred Experience: Charge Experience Preferred
- Unit Highlights:
- Trauma Level: 3
- Comprehensive Stroke Center; Receives STEMIs
- Average Daily Patients: 66
- Nurse to Patient Ratio: 1:4
- Required Certifications:
- BLS
- ACLS
- NIHSS
- PALS
- Common Diagnoses/Types of Patients:
- Stroke
- STEMI
- Sepsis
- Chest Pain
- Behavioral Health
- Experience or Skills Required:
- Behavioral Health Experience
- Minimum of 1 Year Experience
- Ability to Triage Patients if Experienced
- Patient Care Details:
- Intermixed ER Holds
- 4 Designated Psych Rooms
- In-house Security 24/7
- Additional Team Roles:
- ED Techs for EKGs and Patient Monitoring
- Respiratory Therapy Available 24/7
- RNs Draw Labs
- Shifts & Scheduling:
- Orientation: 1 Shift with Experienced ED RN
- Block Scheduling Not Guaranteed
- Dress Code: Royal Blue Scrubs
