Phlebotomist Part Time

Job Overview Labcorp is seeking a Part‑time Phlebotomist to work in Madera, CA. The work schedule is Tuesday – Saturday 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Job Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups. Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc. Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner. Process billing information and collect payments when required. Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis. Maintain patient and specimen information logs. Provide superior customer service to all patients. Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary. Travel to additional sites when needed. Basic Qualifications High School Diploma or GED or equivalent. Valid California State issued Phlebotomy License. Preferred Qualifications At least one month of experience as a phlebotomist. Current or prior experience with Labcorp. Additional Job Standards In lieu of a state license, a phlebotomy license application filed with the CA Department of Health at hire may satisfy the requirement. Ability to pass a standardized color blindness test. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service. Ability to work independently or as part of a team. Comfortable working under minimal supervision. Flexibility to work overtime as needed. Ability to attend a 2‑week training in California. Compensation and Benefits Pay Range: $21.00 - $33.00 per hour. Employees working 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, life, STD/LTD, 401(k), paid time off, tuition reimbursement, and employee stock purchase plan. Employees working fewer than 20 hours receive only the 401(k) plan. Employees on a 7 on/7 off schedule receive all benefits except PTO or FTO.
