Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous assembly, manufacturing, or production training is beneficial.

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of manufacturing assembly experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of hand and power tools.
• Experience reading and interpreting mechanical blueprints.
• TIG and MIG welding experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of workplace safety procedures.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and meet deadlines.

Job Duties

• Assemble machine parts and components using a variety of hand and power tools.
• Follow mechanical blueprints and assembly instructions to build equipment accurately.
• Verify detailing and component specifications during assembly.
• Assemble machines with minimal guidance from supervisors.
• Scan jobs into Made2Manage (M2M) and traveler systems.
• Communicate production issues and concerns to the Lead or Supervisor.
• Follow all safety procedures while handling equipment and machinery.
• Identify and distinguish between parts, components, and detailing requirements.
• Meet production schedules and project deadlines.
• Move parts and components between departments according to traveler documentation.
• Perform welding tasks as needed.
• Complete other duties as assigned.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive assembly tasks throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift components, materials, or finished products weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Manual dexterity to safely handle parts and operate assembly tools or equipment.
• Ability to maintain productivity in a factory environment while following established safety procedures.
