Department Manager - Avon, Massachusetts

Overview Restaurant Depot is a Members-Only Wholesale Cash & Carry Foodservice Supplier. Their mission is to be your one-stop shop for savings, selection, and service, seven days a week. They have been supplying independent food businesses with quality products from large cash and carry warehouse stores since 1990. They became the leading low-cost alternative to other foodservice suppliers by eliminating the overhead of a traditional distributor, focusing on the needs of independent foodservice operators and offering free membership. They are in 34 states and adding approximately 10 new stores a year. They are a privately held company operating on a business to business model, not open to the public so the employees are dealing with companies not consumers. They are closed for major holidays and close early. Also, the layout of the store never changes. Responsibilities We are seeking department managers to join our team! The manager will be responsible for the department they work in, counting inventory, managing 3-7 people, day-to-day operations, and moderate customer assistance. Qualifications Experience in a high volume environment Experience managing 3-7 people Big box experience/High Volume High School Diploma/GED Bachelor’s Degree or high school diploma/GED with at least 4 years experience in customer service Ability to calculate figures, and amounts such as discounts, interest, proportions, percentages, area, mass and volume Computer literacy Inventory experience Able to handle confrontation, great follow up skills Can lift 50 lbs Must be at least 18+ years old Benefits Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K w/4% match, 1 week vacation, 5 personal days, and tuition reimbursement. #J-18808-Ljbffr MissionHires
