Transportation Management Functional Consultant (Manhattan / Blue Yonder) Spinnaker SCA, a Publicis Sapient company, is hiring a Transportation Management Functional Consultant to join our logistics execution practice. This role is ideal for professionals with deep functional knowledge of Manhattan Associates (MA TMS / Active TM) or Blue Yonder TMS, paired with hands‑on experience in transportation operations and system implementations. You’ll serve as the SME guiding clients through business process design, system configuration, functional testing, and change management for TMS deployments. This is a high‑impact role for individuals who bring both supply chain intuition and application‑level depth to every engagement. Location Remote Travel As required by Client Target Compensation Pay Range: $70,000-230,000 USD + Bonus Required qualifications A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field is required. Equivalent experience includes a proven track record of skills, professional accomplishments, or training related to the role. 5+ years of experience in consulting or industry roles with a focus on transportation systems Functional Super User‑level proficiency with Manhattan Associates TMS Active or Blue Yonder TMS Strong operational background in transportation and distribution execution Experience leading or supporting TMS implementations, upgrades, or optimization programs Knowledge of system integration workflows, business process mapping, and configuration Ability to translate transportation requirements into functional and technical designs Hands‑on experience with configuration, training, testing, and post‑implementation support Strong written and verbal communication skills, especially in client‑facing roles Experience that's a plus Familiarity with interface testing and integration mapping between TMS and external systems Experience in both retail and cross‑industry logistics environments Exposure to KPIs, analytics, and root‑cause troubleshooting in a TMS environment Practice development experience: white papers, SoWs, case studies, solution collateral Functional knowledge of labor planning, freight audit & pay, or rate engines within TMS ecosystems What you'll actually do Serve as a subject matter expert for Manhattan TMS Active or Blue Yonder TMS across client projects Lead or participate in discovery and design sessions to align business requirements with TMS capabilities Provide guidance on proactive development, extensions, and best practice design paths Translate business requirements into functional specs, use cases, and configuration documents Collaborate with developers to validate technical design documents Support all phases of implementation, including configuration, functional testing, training, and cutover Troubleshoot functional issues and elevate risks with clear documentation Work directly with client teams to configure and test system interfaces Participate in the design of client‑specific enhancements and workflow optimizations Support knowledge‑sharing and mentoring within the Spinnaker SCA team Contribute to proposals, SoWs, and practice growth initiatives as needed Additional info The range shown represents a grouping of relevant ranges currently in use at Spinnaker SCA.
