Job Summary: As a Welder at IEF, you will fabricate and assemble metal components by reading blueprints, cutting materials, and performing high-quality welds that meet safety and project standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Reading and interpret blueprints, drawings, and measurements to plan layouts.
• Select, measure, and cut materials according to specifications.
• Set up welding equipment and choose the proper welding method for each project.
• Weld and assemble metal parts using the appropriate technique (MIG and TIG).
• Inspect completed welds to ensure they meet quality and safety standards.
• Operate forklifts, cranes, or other equipment to move materials as needed.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and clean work area to ensure a safe environment.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Highschool Diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of welding experience preferred (MIG/TIG a plus).
• Experience in construction or manufacturing environments is preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and follow technical instructions.

Hourly Range: $18 -$35

Location: Calverton, New York [Onsite]

Schedule: Mon-Fri 6:00am-2:30pm

ADA Requirements: The position requires the ability to stand for extended periods, lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds, and work in environments that may involve bending, climbing, or exposure to heat and sparks. Proper PPE will be provided to ensure safety.
