Manufacturing Specialist

This role supports manufacturing needs, monitors and maintains efficient manufacturing processes and workflow for Machining & Assembly.

• Execute all standard operating procedures as they pertain to manufacturing related duties.
• Work as a team member to uphold and maintain departmental standards such as quality and on-time delivery.
• Participate in management meetings to understand tooling order requirements.
• Maintain a safe and tidy work environment according to guidelines and standards.
• Identify ways to reduce production costs through new process equipment and equipment justification to improve performance.
• Provide feedback on tooling, fixturing, and setups to improve process efficiency, cycle time, and overall productivity.
• Provide process capability, to improve the process and monitor and measure progress to target.
• Support manufacturing requirements from routing editing, tooling purchased.
• Perform a sequence of operations, consistently maintaining the performance level set for quality and quantity.
• Support implementation of digital manufacturing tools (data collection systems, machine monitoring) to enhance visibility and process performance.

Must Have:

• 1+ years of experience working in Manufacturing Environment.
• Experience setting up and operating CNC machines with understanding of cutting tool selection and application.
• Advanced blueprint reading skills and GD&T understanding.
• Developed mechanical reasoning and logical troubleshooting skills.
