Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Exciting opportunities await experienced and new graduates alike as School Psychologists in the Greenwood, SC area. These contract positions offer flexibility with both full-time (35 hours per week) and part-time (3-4 days per week) options available, and a hybrid schedule that includes one day a week working from home to focus on paperwork and assessments.
You'll be welcomed into a collaborative environment, working alongside a supportive team of fellow School Psychologists. Both roles provide access to an office space and a district laptop for your professional needs, ensuring you have the resources to make a meaningful impact on students’ academic, social, and emotional success.
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s or higher degree in School Psychology
- State licensure or eligibility as a School Psychologist
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Commitment to culturally responsive practices
- Ability to conduct assessments, develop interventions, and participate in eligibility meetings
- Openness to collaboration with educators, families, and other specialists
- New graduates are encouraged to apply—support and mentorship are available
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete psychoeducational assessments and share results with multidisciplinary teams
- Support Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and 504 Plans through evaluation and input
- Consult with teachers and staff to address student learning or behavior concerns
- Guide families toward helpful resources and school-based supports
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in alignment with district policies
- Participate in student support and eligibility team meetings
- Contribute to a positive school climate by sharing best practices for students’ mental health
