Our organization is currently in search of a Urologist (available ranks: Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor). The chosen candidate will be expected to provide services in Martinsburg, West Virginia .

Responsibilities: The selected individual will focus on the field of Urology . Alongside delivering exceptional patient care, the candidate will also engage in the education of medical students, residents, and fellows.

Requirements: Applicants must possess an MD or DO degree, or an equivalent international qualification, and must be eligible for a medical license in the state. Completion of a Urology residency program is essential. Candidates should also be board certified or eligible in Urology . All qualifications must be fulfilled by the time of appointment.

Martinsburg, WV is located in the Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia, just over an hour from Washington, D.C., and Baltimore, MD, with proximity to three international airports. The area offers a rural setting with a lower cost of living, combined with easy access to the metropolitan regions of Washington, D.C./Baltimore , making it an attractive place to reside. Berkeley County is one of the fastest-growing counties in the state, yet it experiences minimal congestion and traffic. Recently, an influx of urban professionals from nearby cities has bolstered local telecommuting and high-tech industries.

The health system affiliated with our organization is the largest in West Virginia and serves as the state's primary employer. It has seen considerable growth in specialty and subspecialty care, including fields such as cancer, heart and vascular, and neuroscience, among others. The system operates the state's first and only multi-organ transplant center and recently inaugurated a new 150-bed Children's Hospital in September 2022.

Currently, the health system comprises over 2,400 licensed beds, 3,900 providers, and nearly 30,000 employees. Centered around a 700-bed academic medical center in Morgantown, the system includes more than 20 member hospitals that collectively serve a multi-state area, including West Virginia, Western Maryland, Eastern Ohio, and Southwestern Pennsylvania.
