Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to an adult and geriatric population across Medical-Surgical, Medical-Surgical Telemetry, and PCU units as part of a float pool assignment
• Float as required to all MS, MS/Tele, and PCU units within the facility
• Perform independent vital sign checks and blood glucose monitoring for assigned patients
• Utilize Epic (required) , Pyxis, and SBAR communication framework in daily clinical practice
• Manage patient ratios of 1:4-5 on PCU and 1:5-6 on MS and MS/Tele units
• Work every other weekend (approximately 6 weekends over a 13-week contract) and cover applicable major holidays per facility policy

• Active Georgia RN license or valid Compact RN license required at time of submission
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience; first-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Proficiency in Epic is required
• Willingness and ability to float to all assigned MS, MS/Tele, and PCU units within the facility
• All requested time off (RTO) must be finalized at time of submission; no RTO or schedule requests can be made post-offer or once onsite, and no RTO is permitted during orientation week
• Local candidates are welcome to apply at the same rate

• Prior experience with Medical-Surgical Telemetry, PCU, or Stepdown patient populations
• Familiarity with Pyxis medication dispensing systems
• Experience in a float pool or multi-unit setting
