Senior SQL Server Data Analyst

Salary: $83,200 - 93,600 per year Requirements:

• Advanced proficiency in SQL Server T-SQL, including stored procedures, functions, and performance tuning.
• Strong experience developing SSRS RDL reports, including parameters and data sources.
• Familiarity with Visual Studio and TFS source control, branching, and collaborative development.
• Ability to analyze complex data relationships and business logic, with strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field preferred.
• At least 5 years of experience in SQL Server development and reporting.
• Demonstrated experience developing complex stored procedures and SSRS reports, with a strong understanding of relational databases and data modeling.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with technical and business stakeholders.
• Preferred: Experience with healthcare or insurance data systems, knowledge of ETL and data warehousing, and understanding of database design and normalization.

• Design, develop, and optimize stored procedures and T-SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and reporting.
• Create and maintain ad hoc scripts for analysis, troubleshooting, and special reporting requests.
• Implement data validation, quality assurance, profiling, and cleansing procedures.
• Improve query performance using indexing strategies and execution plan analysis.
• Develop and maintain SSRS RDL reports, interactive dashboards, visualizations, parameterized reports, and drill-through or nested report structures.
• Configure report parameters, datasets, and data sources; optimize report performance and manage deployments.
• Analyze complex datasets to identify trends and business insights, translating business requirements into technical specifications and data solutions.
• Collaborate with business users to understand reporting needs and deliver actionable insights.
• Document data models, procedures, reports, and developed solutions.
• Manage source code in Visual Studio with TFS, participate in code reviews, and follow development standards.
