- ## Obstetrics and Gynecology HospitalistCorpus Christi Medical CenterActiveCorpus Christi, TXNot SpecifiedPosted July 15, 2026### Job DescriptionDescriptionSpecialization:Obstetrics and GynecologyJob Summary:A wonderful opportunity for a Board Certified OBGYN to practice as a full timeOB Hospitalist in Corpus Christi, Texas.• 24 hour shifts• Performs deliveries/rounding on inpatients• No clinic responsibilities• No patient phone calls• The L&D is a wonderful balance of kindness and patient safety• Very positive collaboration with Critical Care team and Emergency team• First assists available to support both OB hospitalists and private physicians• Great back-up call system• Collaboration with affiliated MFM and neonatology providers• Providingemergency/unassigned/OBED care, call coverage and assisting with management of transports• Dynamic opportunity for the right candidate• Spanish speaking is a plusIncentive/Benefits:• Guaranteed hourly rate• Holiday pay incentive• An additional $50/hour for Emergency Shift coverage• Comprehensive Beneft Package (health, dental, vision, disability, 401-k, etc...)• Employment (501.a)• Malpractice coverage• Texas has Tort reform and No state income taxAbout Corpus Christi Medical Center:Corpus Christi Medical Center has been offering exceptional care as a regional, acute care center for over 30 years. We are a 4-hospital campus system licensed for 631 beds and currently operating with 421 beds.• Level II Trauma Center• NICU-- Level I, II and III• 19-bed labor unit• 12-bed antepartum• 39 postpartum beds• 3 CS suites• 5-bed OBED• Neonatologists attend every C-section• MFMs on-site• 24/7 anesthesiology• Five (5) da Vinci robots• 24/7 OB hospitalist program• Transport team 24/7 (air and ground)• CCMC GME includes an Internal Medicine and Dermatology residency program as well as Cardiology and Pulmonary fellowships• All residency programs at CCMC are accredited by the ACGMEIn Corpus Christi, Texas you can enjoy living a relaxed, island lifestyle seasoned with a rich blend of culture.
