LEASING CONSULTANT

Sandalwood Management is seeking to add one more full-time Leasing Consultant to assist in the leasing office at a 283 unit apartment complex in Austin , TX - Patten East .

As the first impression of our community, it is important our leasing consultant understands the value of providing strong customer service. This position requires the ability to communicate effectively with residents, prospects and vendors, and to present a positive, professional image. We are looking for a true team player to add to a growing company.

Responsibilities:

• Answering incoming phones.
• Greeting and touring prospective residents, able to provide them with community information and rental rates.
• Follow up and document status of leads.
• Process and verify leasing applications and corresponding documents.
• Updating and maintaining records and data bases.
• Outreach marketing.

Qualifications:

• 1+ years of apartment leasing experience.
• Good customer service and sales skills.
• Experience with Yardi property management software.
• Bilingual, English/Spanish.
• Positive, friendly, and ambitious attitude with excellent problem solving, listening, and deductive reasoning skills.
• Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with prospects, co-workers, residents, vendors and corporate staff.
• Superior customer service skills.
• Desire to learn the requirements of the Property Management industry so that you can be promoted.
• Dependable, driven, accountable and punctual.
• Ability to work weekends.

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license
• Yardi experience
• Leasing experience
• Bilingual in English/Spanish, highly preferred
• Successfully pass preemployment background check and drug test

Compensation:

• $19-$22/hr, Negotiable, depending on experience
• Monthly renewal commission, new move-in commissions, and bonus opportunities
