Environmental Engineer

Environmental Regulatory GuidanceProvide guidance to leadership and laboratories with environmental regulatory guidance to support mission operations.Visit laboratories and conduct inspections and reviews to ensure environmental compliance.Prepare environmental engineering portions of studies (e.g., preliminary assessments/site investigation, inventory project report, remedial investigation/feasibility study, etc.).Evaluate major on-going programs/policies within the organization to determine the impact on the environment and recommend program policy changes to ensure that environmental objectives are achieved.Ensure that all work is performed in accordance with Federal, State, and DOD environmental and safety laws, regulations, and policies.
