RN - Telemetry

This is a travel position for an RN in the Telemetry unit at Novant Health Rowan Medical Center. The shift is 12 hours at night, from 18:45 to 07:15, working weekends Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. The duration is 13 weeks, starting on July 27, 2026, and ending on October 26, 2026. RTO after booking is not allowed, and no onsite work is permitted. The unit is very busy and requires at least two years of experience with similar ratios and acuity. Travelers must be comfortable with a target ratio of 1:5-6, which could fluctuate based on unit needs. The unit primarily cares for cardiac and stroke patients, including those with pacemakers, implanted cardioverter/defibrillators, and those who have undergone cardiac catheterization. The unit also handles post-interventional peripheral vascular procedures and runs multiple cardiac drips. The unit is equipped with telemetry, pulse ox, high flow O2, and Bipap. The hospital uses Pyxis, Dimensions (EPIC), and SBAR for medication, documentation, and communication. The orientation for travelers is 36 hours, and they must be available every day during the first week. Navy blue or white scrubs with Novant t-shirts are allowed, and jackets must match the scrubs in material and color. No crocs with holes are permitted. Must pass EKG testing prior to start. Flu vaccine is required with medical/religious exemptions only.
