OPEN POSITION: Physician Assistant - Orthopedics SCHEDULE: - Full-Time - Monday to Friday - 40 Hours per Week - No Evenings - No Weekends - No Holidays - No On-Call - Some Schedule Flexibility COMPENSATION: - $130,000+ Starting Salary, negotiable based on experience - Regular Bonus Opportunities - Malpractice Insurance - Health / Dental / Vision Insurance - Tuition Reimbursement - Paid Time Off Package - License / DEA Fees Paid - CME Allowance - 401k w/ Match - Full Details Negotiable LOCATIONS: - Lubbock, Texas (primary work site - 60% to 80%) - Midland / Odessa, Texas (secondary work site - 20% to 40%) The practice covers all travel expenses and will work with the new provider on a mutually-agreeable schedule regarding cross-coverage for the Midland/Odessa offices. COMPANY PROFILE: This private practice operates multiple offices in West Texas, specializing in pain and injury treatment, sports medicine, orthopedic surgeries, cartilage replacement, and more. Their dedicated team of physicians and physician assistants are experts in the treatment and care of the musculoskeletal system. POSITION DESCRIPTION: Providers see an average of 20 to 25 patients per day and are fully supported by clinical assistants and administrative staff. The role of the physician assistant includes, but is not limited to: - joint injections - trigger point injections - pre-operative patient care - post-operative patient care - contributing to medical decision-making - assisting in care transitions - patient reassessments - acute visits - test monitoring - consultations - follow-up visits The practice will provide full training; no orthopedic experience is required.
