Job Title: Machinist Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Machinist to program, set up, and operate machines using conversational programming techniques. The ideal candidate will be able to read and understand blueprints and make necessary machine adjustments.

• Program, set up, and operate machines using conversational programming.
• Read and interpret blueprints accurately.
• Make adjustments to machines as required.

• Experience with 3-axis and Mazak mill operations.
• A minimum of 5 years of machining experience.
• Strong understanding of trigonometry.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints.

• Experience with Mazak machinery is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

The work environment is climate-controlled with a team of 15 employees. The position is a first shift role, operating Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with minimal weekend work required.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wichita, KS.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
