ARDMS General Ultrasound Technologist

ARDMS General Ultrasound Technician Full-Time | 5x8s ** Sign-on Bonus Eligible ** MLee Healthcare is looking for a skilled and compassionate Ultrasound Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will perform a variety of ultrasound procedures, ensuring high-quality imaging and optimal patient care.
Primary Responsibilities for an Ultrasound Technician:

- Conduct diagnostic ultrasound examinations.
- Operate and maintain ultrasound machines and related equipment.
- Prepare patients for procedures, explaining the process and addressing any concerns.
- Ensure patient comfort and safety during examinations.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret and review imaging results.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field.
- Certification by the ARDMS (AB)(American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography) is required to be obtained within the first year of hire.
- 2 years of experience working as an Ultrasound Technician ( preferred, not required ).
- Proficiency in various ultrasound techniques and the use of equipment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
