Key Responsibilities

• Deliver physical therapy treatments to patients in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) setting under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
• Implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with established goals and therapist direction
• Monitor and document patient progress, reporting changes in condition to the supervising Physical Therapist
• Educate patients and family members on therapeutic exercises and safe functional techniques
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with facility and regulatory standards

Required Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license in the state of North Carolina
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Ability to work day shift in a skilled nursing facility environment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience working in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) setting
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) documentation systems
