Stationary Engineer

Description Stationary Engineer at Providence Cedars‑Sinai Tarzana Medical Center in Tarzana, CA. This full‑time position works 8‑hour variable shifts. Responsibilities: Reporting to the engineer supervisor/manager, the role is responsible for assisting in the performance of duties necessary to keep the physical structure and associated equipment of the hospital in good repair. Minor electrical work, mechanical repairs and other duties relating to maintenance are the primary duties. Required Qualifications National Steam Engineer License Grade I – State/County/City Trade License Authority upon hire. California Fire and Life Safety Card – National Organization within 30 days of hire. Preferred Qualifications Coursework or training in a related trade school. Two years of experience in a health‑care related environment.
