Tableau Developer

Responsibilities Data Visualization: Develop interactive and visually appealing dashboards using Tableau. Data Connection and Integration: Connect Tableau to various data sources, including databases, spreadsheets, and cloud-based repositories. Work with data engineers to ensure seamless integration of data into Tableau. Data Preparation: Clean, transform, and preprocess raw data to make it suitable for analysis and visualization within Tableau. Dashboard Development: Design, develop, and maintain Tableau dashboards that meet business requirements. Implement user interactivity and dynamic features to enhance user experience. Custom Calculations: Create calculated fields and custom formulas to perform advanced data manipulations and calculations. Performance Optimization: Optimize Tableau dashboards and reports for performance, especially when dealing with large datasets. User Training and Support: Provide training sessions to end-users on how to interact with and interpret Tableau dashboards. Offer ongoing support and troubleshooting assistance to Tableau users. Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders, to understand data requirements and deliver effective solutions. Data Security: Implement and adhere to data security measures within Tableau to safeguard sensitive information. Automation: Develop and implement automated processes for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) tasks within Tableau. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Computer Science, Information Systems, etc.). Proven experience as a Tableau Developer or in a similar role. Proficiency in Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server. Strong understanding of data visualization principles. Knowledge of SQL, data modeling, and database systems. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Preferred Skills Experience with other business intelligence tools.
