Senior Financial Analyst

Our client, a growing real estate development organization, is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support financial planning, forecasting, and project-level analysis across a multi-division portfolio.



Location:
San Ramon, CA. This position is on-site.



Job Description:
This role will partner closely with finance and operational leaders to deliver insights that support growth, capital planning, and operational decision-making. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable building models and processes in a scaling environment.



Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain complex financial models to support development and investment projects
• Lead profitability forecasting and sensitivity analysis to evaluate performance against business plans
• Support operating cash flow forecasting and liquidity planning
• Partner with finance leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning initiatives
• Analyze job-level costs and project performance across multiple operating groups
• Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, reporting, and analytical frameworks
• Support debt-related analysis and provide financial information to external stakeholders as needed

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• 3 years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or project?based finance
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Ability to communicate financial insights clearly to cross-functional stakeholders
