Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 12 Weeks | Days | Onsite | Monday–Friday 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, Weekend Hours 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM | Expected 36 hours/week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient rehabilitation therapy services to a diverse patient population including geriatric, adult, and pediatric patients (ages 13 and older)
• Treat patients with neurological, orthopedic, cardiac, and debility-related diagnoses including stroke, brain and spinal cord injuries, amputations, and complex orthopedic conditions
• Utilize advanced therapy equipment including EKSO, InMotion UE Robotic, and body weight support systems
• Document patient care and progress accurately using UDS and Epic electronic health record systems
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team to support individual functional ability and quality of life
• Maintain a patient ratio of approximately 7 to 1 within a 60-bed inpatient rehabilitation facility

Required Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license required
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a PTA
• Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility (IRF) or Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) experience required
• Strong teamwork, communication, work ethic, and professional responsibility

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience treating neuro, orthopedic, cardiac, and debility patient populations
• Familiarity with advanced rehabilitation equipment such as EKSO or robotic therapy devices
• Prior experience with Epic or UDS electronic health record platforms
