Work Environment\n

This role is fully remote, leveraging telehealth technology to deliver high-quality mental health services to clients across the state of Colorado. The convenience of a telehealth setting allows for flexibility in treatment while maintaining the highest standards of care. You will be part of a collaborative online team that values communication, mutual support, and professional development. The typical work schedule is Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some adjustments possible based on patient needs.

  • Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to evaluate clients' trauma histories, leading to the development of effective treatment plans.

  • Create and implement personalized therapeutic interventions that focus on trauma recovery and resilience-building.

  • Utilize evidence-based practices such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) in your sessions.

  • Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, providing a safe space for clients to explore their trauma and learn coping strategies.

  • Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and interdisciplinary team members to deliver integrated care that meets the diverse needs of each client.

  • Provide additional support during crisis situations and facilitate intervention strategies as needed.

  • Educate clients and their families about trauma responses, effective coping mechanisms, and available community resources.

  • Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in line with legal standards and ethical practices.

  • Engage in regular case consultations, team meetings, and continuous professional development activities.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work primarily with individuals affected by various forms of trauma, including those diagnosed with PTSD, complex trauma, and associated mental health disorders. Understanding the nuanced needs of these clients is crucial to providing effective therapeutic support. Your role will involve not only treating symptoms but also fostering a sense of hope and empowerment in clients as they navigate their healing journeys.

Qualifications\n

  • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

  • Current licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Colorado.

  • A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience is preferred.

  • Strong foundational knowledge of a variety of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment methodologies.

  • Experience in implementing trauma-focused therapies and demonstrating positive client outcomes.

  • Excellent communication skills with a compassionate approach to client interaction, crucial in creating therapeutic relationships.

  • Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and comfortable with other necessary telehealth technologies.

Compensation and Benefits\n
