Candidates should have a professional degree in architecture from an accredited program and 10 years experience in commercial design, exhibit strong design and organizational skills, and be able to contribute to a fast‑paced, creative office. Primary Job Responsibilities Include Project Lead / Project Manager for all phases (schematic design through construction administration) of small, medium, and large‑scale corporate projects; Coordinating with clients, consultants, and design principals Design and presentation drawings; Construction detailing and drawings; Construction observation and administration; Manage and oversee junior architects and designers Additional Responsibilities Include Knowledge of workplace strategies Knowledge of IBC Building Codes | ADA Prepare and review of construction documents Lead & Manage Junior Architects Space Planning / Test Fitting Coordination of permit process Construction administration, including meeting with contractors, clients, consultants, etc File and track all incoming documentation from other consultants Qualifications Bachelors degree in Architecture ; 10 + years of experience in commercial architecture Registered Architect a plus however not required Demonstrated knowledge of the design process, products, materials and construction details Knowledge of project constructability, project costs, and building code requirements Proficiency in AutoCAD , Adobe Photoshop & Indesign, and SketchUp and/or Revit Located in New York City, and ability to travel outside of the New York area on a regular basis Application Please submit your resume, portfolio / work samples, and cover letter to View email address on click.appcast.io Please include your cover letter in the body of your email.
