Construction Laborer - Aviation

Job Summary Opportunity for experienced construction worker. Must observe all Boh Bros. safety protocols, be drug‑free, have reliable transportation, and be eligible for high‑security background checks for badge access to various locations. Most job sites are in and around Greater New Orleans. Responsibilities Shoveling concrete and dirt, preparing utility pipe for crew Cutting materials, hauling materials, hand grading, checking string lines Housekeeping at job site, checking safety protocol, laying out job materials according to plan Beginning‑of‑shift set‑up and end‑of‑shift clean‑up Work outdoors in extreme conditions (cold, heat, humidity) and at heights Operate wheelbarrow, plate compactor, pressure washer, weed whacker, hand tools, pneumatic tools (jackhammers, impact wrenches, etc.) Qualifications Valid US driver’s license Ability to pass high‑security background checks for badge access to airports, plants, and military bases Previous experience in road or construction field, working outdoors in extreme weather conditions, and ability to understand simple directions Current TWIC preferred Ability to work in a team setting with other craft workers engaged in heavy construction activities Benefits Boh Bros. is a union contractor. All wages and benefits are determined by the union agreement. All new hires will be paid 90% of the journeyman scale for the first 300 hours of employment.
