We are looking for a Materials and Receiving Clerk to join the team at our Norridge, IL location. Then keep reading! The Norridge location of NSI is a progressive manufacturer of die castings that has been in business for 60+ years, and we look forward to having you join our team! Please note, this is a full-time, 1st shift position (7am - 3:30pm, Monday - Friday).

General Summary
Coordinates and assists with production and material flow, database entries and receiving of purchased product and materials.

Responsibilities

• Transfer parts from samples into production
• Receive material from unfinished jobs and release new production jobs
• Review and investigate job issues and make necessary adjustments
• Scale material and enter production in database
• Generate shipping notices, print and prepare labels for material going for outside processing
• Receive parts sent for outside processing
• Receive and deliver purchased materials throughout the facility
• Move or assist with material movement between departments/operations and scrap entries
• Review shipping schedule
• Review job entry history and report when issues arise
• File completed routers, routing sheets, shipping notices, and purchased supplies
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager

Required Qualifications

• Basic computer/email skills
• Basic math skills
• Able to lift up to 30lbs.

Salary Range: $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
