We are seeking a Senior Manager of Operational Excellence to own Delivery Quality and Metric Readiness for Amazon Now's entire Quick Commerce (QC) network. This leader will be accountable for post-dispatch quality outcomes — DEA, DNR, concessions, and VOC — and for ensuring the QC network has the right metrics, defined correctly, prioritized appropriately, and ready to operate against from Day 1.This is a high-visibility role that demands executive presence, quantitative depth, and a bias for resolution over reporting. The right candidate works fluidly across Tech, Product, Program, and Operations, thrives in fast-moving environments, and turns ambiguity into structure. They will build and lead a team that leads with data — analyzing trends, building metrics, and driving performance outcomes across the network.Key job responsibilitiesResponsibilities: Set the delivery quality bar across the QC supply chain and drive accountability to it — own outcomes, not just analysisBuild, develop, and lead a high-performing team of operational excellence, supply chain analytics, and data professionalsArchitect data-driven root-cause frameworks for post-dispatch defects across the supply chain; use statistical methods to isolate failure modes and drive structural resolutionDefine the metric readiness strategy: what to measure across the supply chain, how to define it, how to build the data pipelines, and how to maintain parity at scaleBuild and maintain dashboards, reporting mechanisms, and analytical models that provide real-time visibility into supply chain and delivery quality performanceInfluence VP-level leadership with crisp, data-driven narratives on quality trends, supply chain risks, and investment tradeoffsDrive cross-functional alignment across Supply Chain, Tech, Product, Program, and Last Mile — breaking through organizational boundaries to resolve systemic issuesTranslate VOC and supply chain data into prioritized action with clear ownership, SLAs, and closed-loop mechanismsEstablish scalable operating cadences (WBRs, audits, statistical process control) that drive discipline across the distributed supply chain networkShape quality and metric standards for new site launches and network expansion — ensuring supply chain and operational readiness before Day 1Basic qualifications- 10+ years of Business, Operations, Supply Chain, Learning, or related field experience- 8+ years of owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience- Experience building measures and metrics, and developing reporting solutions- Experience managing competing priorities and using metrics to drive business decisions- 5+ years of managing and developing teams experience- Experience owning and driving large-scale cross-functional programsPreferred qualification - 5+ years of supply chain experience- Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization- MBA, or Master's degree in supply chain management, operations, engineering, analytics or related field- Experience with supply chain analytics tools, BI platforms, and building automated reporting at scale- Experience in quick commerce, grocery supply chain, last-mile delivery, or high-velocity fulfillment operationsAmazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status.Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
