Job Summary:

A Medical Surgical Floor registered nurse position is available in Birmingham, Alabama. The role involves providing patient care on a medical surgical unit, with scheduled night shifts. This opportunity offers a 13-week assignment, working three 12-hour shifts per week, including every other weekend.

Job Details:

• Location: Birmingham, AL
• Shift: Nights, 12 hours per shift
• Schedule: 36 hours per week, 3x12 shifts, 13-week assignment, every other weekend
• Required Qualifications: Two years experience as a Medical Surgical nurse, BLS certification, Cerner electronic medical records experience, previous travel healthcare experience (at least one contract)
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with EMR Cerner system is highly desirable
• Additional Information: The assignment is on the East 6 North medical/surgical unit. The successful candidate must have experience working on a similar unit and be comfortable with Cerner electronic medical records systems.
