Qualifications and Experience:

• Hold a valid teaching certification in Special Education
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Special Education or a related field
• Experience designing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Strong understanding of various learning disabilities and intervention strategies
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families
• Previous experience in a school setting highly preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, adapt, and implement IEPs tailored to individual student requirements
• Provide direct instruction to students in both small groups and one-on-one settings
• Assess student progress regularly, modifying teaching plans to ensure success
• Collaborate closely with general education staff and other specialists to deliver inclusive education
• Maintain accurate and complete student records as required by law and district policies
• Communicate frequently with families to share progress and strategies
• Participate in professional development to stay current on evidence-based practices
