Description Job Title:CaregiverLocation:Wellspring Senior Living Campus - SaginawReports to:Caregiver SupervisorPosition Type:Full-time, Part-Time | HourlyWellspring Lutheran Services is a statewide nonprofit dedicated to serving seniors, families and children throughout Michigan. We are currently seeking a full-time or part-time Caregiverto join our Saginaw Assisted Living team. In this position, you'll be directly supporting your community in Saginaw County.ResponsibilitiesProvides care in the following areas according to the resident care sheet and direction of the caregiver supervisor; immediately reports to the supervisor when the assignment cannot be completedPerforms and documents vital signs and blood sugar testing as required related to medications administrationAdministers medications as set up and according to the medication administration record (MAR)Reports any deviation from MAR and medication dosing systemProperly documents medication administration information including refusal of routine medications and PRN medication administrationObserves for and reports signs and symptoms that might be related to medications or changes in conditionAssists residents at meal time and report any ongoing dietary problemsPerforms minor treatments including application of therapeutic creams and simple dressing changesResponds to emergencies and assists supervisor with management of the sameCompletes any assigned caregiver tasksQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent (preferred)Experience in caregiving and working with elders in a long-term care settingCompassionate, dependable, and team-orientedSchedule and CompensationEmployment type: Full-time, Part-timeSchedule:Day Shift (6:00am – 6:00pm) or Night Shift (6:00pm – 6:00am)Weekends: rotation every other weekendPay Rate: $15.00 /hourBenefitsHealth, dental, and vision insurance**PTO and Paid Holidays403(b) Retirement Plans + matching **DailyPay – access your earned wages anytimeWellspring SupportLinc – employee assistance programClinical supervision and support as neededMeaningful connections with residents and team membersLocationWellspring Lutheran Services – Saginaw Assisted Living Campus5935 Shattuck RdSaginaw, MI 48603Join Wellspring and use your skills and compassion to make a difference in the lives of seniors in Saginaw.
