Key Responsibilities

As a Remote Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting individual therapy sessions via secure video conferencing platforms to address clients' mental health needs.
• Facilitating discussions with clients about their emotions and life experiences, aiding them in gaining self-insight and improving their interpersonal relationships.
• Acting as a supportive advocate for clients, helping them define and set achievable personal and therapeutic goals.
• Assessing clients' mental health conditions to develop and implement individualized treatment plans grounded in evidence-based, solution-focused techniques.
• Maintaining accurate records of client interactions and treatment progress in line with HIPAA regulations, ensuring confidentiality and compliance.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will be providing care primarily to stable adult clients who have undergone thorough screenings prior to booking sessions. The clients you will work with are characterized by low acuity mental health issues, and our matching system aligns you with individuals whose needs complement your areas of expertise and preferred demographics. This ensures that you can have a profound impact without the challenge of managing severe mental health crises.

Qualifications

To qualify for this position, you must possess the following:

• A completed Master’s degree in a relevant field such as Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• A valid and fully unrestricted license to practice in Arizona, such as:
• Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
• Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
• Exceptional interpersonal skills paired with a compassionate and understanding demeanor.
• Proficient computer skills, comfortable with using digital platforms for therapy and administration.

Preferred Experience
