Housekeeping Operations Manager

About the Role The Boulders Resort and Spa is a premier luxury resort looking for a dedicated Housekeeping Operations Manager. With an expansive 33,000 sq. ft. property set amid 1,300 acres of the breathtaking Sonoran Desert, we provide unparalleled amenities including a luxurious spa and championship golf. Our picturesque restaurants offer stunning views, and we are seeking a proactive leader to guide our Housekeeping team. Key Responsibilities Lead and support all Housekeeping staff to uphold the high standards of cleanliness and service expected at Boulders Resort & Spa. Manage staff requirements including training, coaching, and conducting performance evaluations. Plan, organize, and oversee daily operations to ensure compliance with quality assurance standards through regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas, including restaurants and meeting spaces. Complete necessary paperwork and administrative duties accurately and timely. Review assignment status and facilitate communication with the oncoming supervisor. Conduct performance evaluations for Room Attendants after suite service completion. Ensure all VIP rooms are meticulously prepared for incoming guests. Conduct inspections on House Attendants to maintain cleanliness across all resort areas. Collaborate with the Public Area Team to uphold property cleanliness and track project completion. Evaluate the state of furniture, fixtures, and décor, reporting any issues promptly. Oversee the issuance of all Resort keys and equipment. Assist the Executive Director in monitoring staff performance and conduct 90-day and annual evaluations. Maintain records of deep cleans, suite cleans, and carpet cleaning schedules. Help address and resolve staff-related issues, including scheduling and incentive programs. Manage inventory and monitor the use of all cleaning tools and supplies. Communicate and collaborate with other departments to ensure personalized guest service. Ensure the efficient delivery of guest requests. Address and resolve any guest challenges swiftly and professionally. Keep the work environment clean, professional, and welcoming at all times. Perform additional tasks as assigned by the General Manager or Director of Operations. Qualifications Strong leadership skills, keen attention to detail, and a commitment to exceptional customer service. A high school diploma or GED is required. Comprehensive understanding of environmental services (EVS), including cleaning methodologies and the use of cleaning supplies and equipment. A minimum of 2 years’ experience in hospitality or guest services. Bilingual skills are an advantage, but not essential. #J-18808-Ljbffr Broughton Group
