Mechanical Engineer

Note: The work location is Morristown, TN Your Contribution Assist with production control, measurement, and planning by performing the following duties. Develops and writes task analysis, cost analysis and proposals for implementation of new processes or improvements to existing processes. Selects or designs parts and tooling to meet customer specifications and expectations. Works hand-in-hand with line personnel to ensure newly developed parts and tooling are correctly installed and functioning properly. Works to re-engineer components until producing desired results. Confers with established personnel to implement standard operating procedures and resolve system malfunctions. Develops, plans and models alternate processing methods to test feasibility of new applications of system components, and recommends implementation of improved procedures, process improvements and/or set-up reduction techniques. Confers with workers in other departments such as marketing, training and development, and engineering, to provide technical information. Other duties may be assigned as needed. Your Experience & Qualifications Previous experience in a manufacturing role or environment, such as internship. Experience in the automotive industry. Proficency with Microsoft Office. Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and data analysis. Experience with Power BI. Experience with SAP (any module).
