Nuclear Medicine Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to provide exceptional diagnostic and therapeutic services for both inpatient and outpatient populations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in nuclear medicine procedures and be committed to delivering high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Administer a variety of nuclear isotopes to detect and scan for pathological conditions.
• Conduct quality control, including floods and equipment maintenance, to ensure optimal functioning of scanning equipment.
• Prepare registered films and prints according to departmental protocols.
• Collaborate with Radiologists and follow departmental guidelines to provide timely diagnostic services.

Requirements

• Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) or current registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT).
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Minimum of one year of experience in nuclear medicine.
• Cardiac experience is essential.
• Familiarity with Cedars Sinai software is a plus.

Work Schedule

The typical shift is 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM, although this may vary based on patient needs. Procedures generally commence at 7:30 AM, requiring early preparation to receive isotopes and perform necessary quality control checks.
