Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state.
• Experience working with children or in a school-based setting preferred.
• Strong communication and organization skills.
• Ability to develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans.
• Flexibility, teamwork, and a commitment to inclusive, student-centered care.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct physical therapy services to students based on individualized education plans (IEPs).
• Assess students’ abilities and develop strategies to improve movement, mobility, and functional independence in the school environment.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists to support students’ educational goals.
• Document assessments, progress, and outcomes in accordance with school and legal requirements.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to a multidisciplinary team approach for student support.
• Offer training and consultation to staff and families regarding physical therapy interventions and adaptive equipment.
