Job Summary We are seeking a Banker / New Accounts CSR for a direct hire opportunity in Pleasanton, CA. This role is ideal for a banking professional with teller, new accounts, and customer service experience who enjoys helping clients choose the right financial products while supporting daily branch operations. This opportunity offers a professional banking environment with supportive leadership, strong teamwork, and a clear path for growth within branch banking. The role provides exposure to consumer accounts, business accounts, compliance, teller transactions, client relationship building, and cross-selling financial services. Candidates who are service-focused, detail-oriented, and motivated to build long-term client relationships will be well positioned for success. Key Responsibilities Open, maintain, and close consumer and business accounts, including checking, savings, CDs, IRAs, and other account types based on experience level. Interview and profile clients to recommend appropriate banking products and services that meet their financial needs. Process new account transactions, teller transactions, account documentation, and system uploads accurately and in compliance with bank procedures. Cross-sell bank products and services, identify referral opportunities, and support branch profitability and relationship growth. Provide courteous, professional service to clients in person and by phone while resolving account inquiries and service needs. Maintain compliance with banking regulations, including Bank Secrecy Act requirements, information security standards, and internal policies. Compensation and Benefits Compensation: $20.00 to $31.90 per hour. Employment type: Direct hire.
