LOCAL TRUCK DRIVER - DEDICATED PORT OPERATIONS

Pay: $1,500 - $2,000+ Per Week
Sign-On Bonus: $1,000
Guaranteed Pay: $1,500 per week for the first 30 days
Home Time: Daily

ProDrivers is seeking experienced Class A CDL drivers for a dedicated port operation in the Savannah area. This position offers consistent freight, strong weekly earnings, daily home time, and long-term career stability.

Position Overview

As a Local Truck Driver, you will transport freight between port terminals, rail facilities, warehouses, and customer locations throughout the Savannah market. This is an excellent opportunity for drivers looking for steady work, competitive pay, and the ability to be home every day.
Schedule

• Start times between 6:00 AM and 7:00 AM or 3:00 PM and 5:00 PM
• Monday through Friday
• Weekend availability required
• 10 to 12-hour shifts
• Home daily

Responsibilities

• Safely transport freight throughout the Savannah area
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Operate in port and rail yard environments
• Maintain DOT compliance and safety standards
• Inspect containers and chassis for safe operation
• Accurately complete required paperwork and documentation

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL
• Minimum of 12 months of verifiable tractor-trailer experience within the last 3 years
• TWIC Card required
• Port experience required
• Experience operating manual transmission vehicles
• Acceptable driving record and safety history
• Strong commitment to safety and professionalism
