MedSurg RN - Acute Care

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shift (4x12-Hour) from 19:00 to 07:00, weekdays, some weekends, float, and holidays.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced MedSurg RN for an acute care setting. The role involves working in a 18-bed critical access hospital, providing high-quality care to patients.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care in a fast-paced environment.
• Manage medication administration and monitor patient vital signs.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop patient care plans.
• Participate in patient education and discharge planning.
• Provide support during emergency situations and critical care interventions.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of MedSurg RN experience.
• Current RN license in WV or compact state.
• Certifications: BCLS, NIHSS required; ACLS preferred.
• Travel experience is preferred.
