Physical Therapist – NHC HomeCare Crawfordville/Tallahassee NHC HomeCare is seeking a Physical Therapist to supervise and provide physical therapy services for patients with physical disabilities, injuries, or diseases. Responsibilities Supervises and participates in the application of physical therapeutic techniques for rehabilitating patients. Coordinates and supervises the delivery of physical therapy services across the team. Provides physical therapy services as ordered by the referring physician and delegates appropriate portions to licensed physical therapy assistants. Instructs staff in delegated functions, including precautions, special problems, contraindications, anticipated progress goals, and plans for re‑evaluation. Evaluates, plans, and supervises treatment programs, establishing short‑term and long‑term goals for patients as approved by the physician with periodic re‑evaluations. Qualifications Graduate of a BS or MS level course in physical therapy accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association. Licensed or registered under the statutes of the state in which the PT will practice. At least one year’s experience in a supervisory role preferred.
